Hazelnut, cranberry and pistachio chocolate bark

This treat is so simple to make that it barely needs a recipe! I absolutely love making chocolate bark, it’s almost like creating a piece of edible art. Swirling the chocolates together and decorating the slab with your favourite toppings is actually quite relaxing, and you have a delicious treat to enjoy at the end of it.

Easy dukkah

There is something so enticing about this particular blend of nuts, seeds and spices that makes me want to sprinkle Egyptian dukkah on just about everything! Dukkah is one of those things that I just have to have in my pantry, and because it’s so quick and easy to put together there really is no excuse not to make it myself.

4 Ingredient homemade chocolate spread (refined sugar free)

The reason for this is that I have sweetened it with honey instead of sugar, giving it a silky smooth, melt in your mouth texture – delicious!

Saffron, hazelnut and honey roasted chicken

Chicken roasted with onions, honey and hazelnuts
The past two weeks have been fraught with activity including birthdays, a school fair, dog sitting, a deadline or two, sick kiddies (and a sick me!) as well as the usual busy routine. As a result it has taken me a little longer than usual to get this post up. I made this roast chicken a few weeks ago and I know I have found a new favourite in this recipe. This dish would not be out of place at a dinner party with friends but works equally well as a weeknight supper – I hope you will love it too! It’s a good ‘un…
