Milk tart phyllo cups

I am delighted to be teaming up with Mediterranean Delicacies today for a special, #AfroChic recipe that I am sure will entice your tastebuds. I am no stranger to this brand and their products are usually always found in our family picnic basket when we are out and about. But there is so much more to the Mediterranean Delicacies product range than just delicious dips and spreads. Did you know that their product line also includes olives, cheeses, seafood and pastries?

A fairy party (and a fairy cake!)

If there was ever a good time to haul out some banal clichés then this must be it. “Time flies.” “They grow up so fast.” How often we use these timeworn phrases, and yet how true they are. It is still pretty warm though, and that got me thinking about this dish which my family loves to enjoy when that summer feeling is in the air and also in the colder months.

A trio of summer spreads – hummus, tzatziki, tuna pâté

Greetings and Happy New Year everyone! I have had a lovely break, albeit a busy one packed with get togethers with family and friends, bits of admin that we did not get to during the year and plenty of feasting. We even managed to end off with a few days away in beautiful Franschhoek – just my little family, which was a perfect way to end off a busy holiday. It almost made up for the administrative portion of the holiday – because nothing screams “holiday fun” more than having to queue for five hours to renew your car licence and another eight hours for passports! Hey ho.
